1. The Driskill

Neighborhood: Downtown
Capacity: 750 standing, 350 seated

Everything is bigger in Texas, and The Driskill is no exception. Built in 1886 for a cattle baron, this traditional, historic hotel remains a constant in the heart of downtown Austin. Choose from any of The Driskill’s 19 event spaces. The ballrooms and meeting rooms can host hundreds, but there are two meeting spaces that should grab your attention. The Governor’s Boardroom is a Texas-sized space with a stately design and rich wood and gold touches. This 364-square foot space offers room for 15 in a conference-style setup. The Chisholm Trail Room can fit 50 associates and features original Burled walnut wainscoting from 1886 and a full Texas landscape mural. The only throwback feature at this venue is the décor, as both rooms come complete with state-of-the-art audio/visual supplied by an on-site tech.

2. Austin Proper Hotel

Neighborhood: Downtown
Capacity: 530 standing, 540 seated

Austin Proper Hotel has a strong sense of occasion. A Marriott “Member of Design” hotel, Austin Proper offers up more than 9,500 square feet of unique spaces for corporate meetings or company retreats. One of the more distinct spaces is Morning Glory, a natural light-flooded room that can seat 30 associates. An inspired space for exchanging ideas, this room is tailored with Kelly Wearstler furnishings, state-of-the-art audio/visual, and a kitchenette for refreshments. 4. Lone Star Court

Capacity: 120 standing, 132 seated

Lone Star Court is a retro-inspired hotel in Austin delivering a resort experience with a modern twist.
