What to Consider Before Booking a Venue in Orlando

Nobody wants run-of-the-mill. When it comes to throwing an event in Orlando, you want your event to stand out from the crowd and your business associates to enjoy their time. Whether hosting a product roll-out or sales meeting, retreat or conference, there are several items to ask regarding your needs when it comes to a venue in Orlando:

What is my event agenda? Will you need space for a presentation, then move the crowd somewhere for cocktails? Do you need a space for a business luncheon only? The format of your day (or night) will need to be clearly laid out before you zero in on a locale.

What is my crowd size? Of course there’s lots of great large venues in Orlando, but you’ll need to find a space that is right for your guest size. Unique doesn’t always mean small. Luckily there are venues in Orlando that fit all sizes of crowds exceptional enough that your guests will be wowed.

How far is my venue from where my guests are staying? As they always say: location, location, location. To be efficient, pick a venue that is close. If the venue you want so badly is a good ride away from your guests’ accommodations, plan for their transport, especially in a city as spread out as Orlando.

What is my plan to feed my guests? Make sure to ask if the venue you have chosen has an in-house kitchen or catering partner. Or maybe the place you’ve selected is for your presentation only and you will need to book a private dining room. Always remember, your crowd will need refreshments morning, noon, and night, so coordinate with your chosen venue.
