Need help planning your Seattle Event? Find the top agencies and vendors for your next event!
Every corporate event has a checklist, but there are certain considerations for a company holiday party outside of the normal to-do’s. Before booking your venue, consider the following:
Capacity. Make sure the venue you select can accommodate your expected number of guests, and can accommodate potential crowd fluctuations throughout the evening.
Budget. Set this early so you can land on a venue (likely your biggest expense) and plan for additional expenses like entertainment or favors.
Tech Requirements. Check with leadership and the team if any presentation or slideshows will be on the evening’s agenda, then coordinate with the venue or book a trusted vendor.
Amenities and Entertainment. A DJ, a dance floor, live music, a magician, a bar (or two, or three)…all these extras will have to be accounted for in the planning process.
Ambiance. The venue you select will hopefully play well into your holiday theme, but if you’ve gone with a blank space venue, you’ll need to budget for décor to deck your halls.
Plus Ones. Your employees may be allowed to bring a date to your event, so make sure to account for extra guests.
Dietary Needs. Be sure to either ask about the dietary restrictions of your guests, or simply offer dietary friendly options to everyone – it’s just good planning.
Transport and Parking. Confirm if your selected venue has available parking, is close to public transportation, or other means for ease of access.
From the Space Needle to Pike Place Market, it is clear that Seattle's festive and unique venues for your upcoming corporate holiday party rival them all. Let The Vendry kick-off your search in Seattle by zeroing in on your company’s needs – even request a proposal directly from your search!
